I have a very rare Pontiac sportscar, but no service adviser from Premier GM or Premier Chevrolet would return my call for a quote to install a left rear blinker bulb.  In my car, changing the rear blinker bulb is quite involved and requires taking off the tire, etc.

I chose Del Mar Auto because their phone was answered by a human who gave me a reasonable quote to change the bulb and change the oil in less than 3 minutes on the phone.

My actual price was less than what I was quoted on the phone because Del Mar Auto did the labor in less than the estimated book time.

Del Mar Auto reviewed the entire car and made good suggestions that the GM dealer never suggested.

Well today was one of those days…

long story short my relationship with Del Mar car care started with making my f250 my dream truck with installing a carli suspension along with a s&b 60 gallon fuel tank and some wheels and tires… all this was done perfectly and professionally…

today I was in a bind the fuel pump on the f250 cracked and was spraying diesel all over the engine so much it was smoking through the ac vents… I called a couple dealers and limped it into the closest one… all the dealers said they couldn’t even look at it for at least 5 working days… and even with a diesel river flowing in the service line they didn’t help….

through this entire amazingly fun adventure  I was texting/talking with Shaun to ask what I should check and also to see if he could help me out because I was striking out on getting it even looked at…

without hesitation Shaun said tow it here… so I did…. Within 30 minutes of getting there his team located a new fuel filter then sent someone to pick it up and I was back on the road within two hours….

We were supposed to start our Christmas camping trip today and thanks to Shaun and his team taking time out of their already jam packed work load, we are only delayed a day!!!! I had my SUV repaired at Del Mar Car Care due to an oil leak that occurred while I was driving on the SB 5 freeway. They called me the next day to inform me about the situation of my vehicle, and the cost of the repair. The communication with Bill was very comforting and timely.
